This is a gorgeous trail to embark along in late summer, when the vines are ripe with grapes, leaves and promise, the cereal crops are bathed in sunlight and there's a whole host of sightseeing to do, such as at Crissay-sur-Manse (one of the most beautiful villages in France) or the winemakers' cellar in Panzoult.
