A financial support
The Park can help you to apply for funding, encouraging projects in line with the park charter. You are a local authority and Park member planning a project in relation with landscapes, nature and more generally quality of life?
The Park knows about/disposes of funding that might interest you. Any examples? In 2015 and 2016, 885 000 € have been raised for 9 projects carried out by local authorities and their groupings upon a call for proposals of the Ministry for Ecological Transition, coordinated by the Park.
Since 2013, a regional operation called “Nature contract” has allowed 7 local authorities and the Maine-et-Loire department to restore natural areas and put them out to graze.
A technical support
The Park is an engineering pool serving the whole territory.
The team is made up of highly qualified experts in different fields offering free advice and help for refining projects.
Park employees intervene at the local authorities on different subjects such as: landscape planning, urban planning, implementation of the Territorial Climate-Air-Energy Plan, development of the local food sector or else biodiversity management. The technical team knows the territory and local issues perfectly well. It has the capacity to lead you to financial opportunities and to support you throughout your project.
Because we stand stronger together, the Park helps you find the right person to guide you in your projects. The Park is above all dedicated to bringing stakeholders to the table, fostering common approaches and doing things together. The team can suggest an animation method including partners from different fields and horizons.
A place to meet
The Park is a place, where people meet, where they build and share projects. Its main field of action is the promotion and preservation of local heritage in a broad sense. It builds and creates projects at the closest possible to the territory, bringing together a large panel of stakeholders: local authorities, associations, economic players…
Daily life and actions at the Park are punctuated by working groups, commissions and theme meetings.
The Park contributes to the preservation of the quality of life and the attractiveness of the territory
Regional Natural Parks are created in inhabited rural areas with rich and recognized but fragile heritage. The Loire-Anjou-Touraine Park daily works for the preservation of the living environment, associating remarkable landscapes and built heritage, which makes the territory so special. It leads renovation projects of old buildings, promotes sustainable economic initiatives or else participates in the restoring of natural area fostering biodiversity.
