This group and family accommodation located about 12 km outside of Chinon in the countryside Rabelais loved so much can be rent for a stopover or a longer stay. It is composed of two buildings with character with respectively 17 and 7 beds. You will find all the equipment you need for small children, as well as for teenagers. There is also a meeting room for 12 people.
The owners take special care about the consumption of energy (wood-fired boiler and solar panels), the consumption of water (dry toilets in addition to ordinary toilets) and the use of eco-friendly building materials (clay bricks, plaster, lime, hemp, wood …)
There are many interesting activities both for groups of friends and families: hiking, cycling, horse riding, cultural visits, wine tasting, ….
The village of Lerné is ideally located at the crossroads of Touraine, Anjou and Poitou not far from Chinon, Fontevraud and Saumur. It is a beautiful village surrounded by a gorgeous forest. Thanks to its many renovated tufa houses the village has been listed as a heritage site since 1978. Our special mention goes to the roar of the deer you can hear from the cottage in autumn.
Isabelle and Jean-François are very dynamic and will be great advice for helping you to prepare your visits. Isabelle is a Park ambassador and regularly trains to enlarge her knowledge of heritage preservation.
