La Closerie Saint-Martin is located in a stunning and historical hamlet above the Vienne river at the heart of the ACO Chinon vineyards. The house made of tufa stone is a part of the former outbuildings of the Roches Saint-Paul priory dating back to the 14th and 17th centuries.
The rooms are comfortable and furnished with care, giving a warm atmosphere. High quality beds for a perfect night sleep are a big plus.
Breakfast and dinner are prepared with mainly local and/or organic produce and served in the inner courtyard on warm and sunny days. Katharina and Marcel offer an aperitif in their beautiful vaulted wine cellar.
Katharina and Marcel love the rich heritage of their hamlet. They always make sure to give their guests the best welcome and care. Swiss natives, they are a very dynamic couple and perfectly know the treasures of the region to give you best advice - with the sound of their formidable accent! Katharina and Marcel are Park ambassadors and regularly train to enlarge their knowledge of heritage preservation.
