This cottage is located in Gennes, a typical Anjou village by the Loire riverside between Saumur (15 km) and Angers (30 km).
Petra will give you a warm welcome on her estate which once was an outbuilding of the castle of Joreau. The cottage is a former poultry house. It is an authentical building made of tufa stone and quarry sandstone. You have an independent access to the cottage, a big sunny terrace and a small private garden.
A parc of 10 ha invites you to stroll around, have a picnic or just relax. Only a 5 minutes’ walk away, you can continue your immersion in nature at the “Réserve naturelle régionale de l’étang de Joreau”!
The “Domaine de Joreau” is the perfect starting point for your discoveries of the regional cultural, natural and gastronomic heritage. The hiking trail GR3 and the “Loire by bike” route pass directly before the property!
Petra is a Park ambassador and regularly trains to enlarge her knowledge of heritage preservation.
